Meet Grandma Tingle

So named because of her gnarled and wrinkled appearance, and her distinctive face that gives her an almost human quality, Grandma Tingle is estimated to be over 400 years old.

I’m so glad we had the pleasure of meeting her when we went Walking With Giants.

In response to the WordPress Photo Challenge Face

The Red Tingle (Eucalyptus jacksonii) is one of the tallest trees in Western Australia and is found almost exclusively in Walpole-Nornalup National Park.  It’s a relict of former tropical forests.
